Demolition Safety Painting Competition
Last Thursday we held the presentation of prizes for our Demolition Safety Painting and Drawing Competition for the William Bellamy School. The School is located close to our Demolition Sites in Stour Road and Althorne Way.
All the pupils in the School from Nursery to Year 6 took part and we have displayed all the artworks recieved on the hoardings at both sites.
Every child understood the concept of how dangerous a Demolition site can be and this was carried over into their Paintings and Drawings. The standard of the works was fantastic and it was very hard to pick winners. We awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to each age group.
We invited the Leader of Barking and Dagenham Council Darren Rodwell to come along to a morning assembley at the School to present the prizes. We gave them book tokens as prizes plus Amazon tablets for the older age group winners.
