Reedbed Project at Logans Meadow, Cambridge
Last year we were appointed as Civil Engineering Contractors London for the construction of a Reedbed at Logans Meadow in Cambridge. It was to create a habitat for rare wildlife just beside the River Cam. David Ifould a Landscape Architect working for the Council designed it and has to be congratulated on his vision.
Our construction team spent an enjoyable 8 weeks constructing it. The water flow is controlled by stop logs. Once the beds had been constructed Volunteers planted the Reeds one Weekend.
Our Business Development manager Alan Knight revisited site this week and was suitably impressed by the way it had developed.
